Let's do Science!

This week we are learning the alphabet. Although we work on the phonetic approach to deal with reading and writing, we also want them to learn the names of the letters to make them able to spell any word if necessary. There we go! Esta semana estamos aprendiendo el abecedario. Aunque trabajamos con el método Jolly Phonics, que trabaja la relación sonido-letra para aprender a leer y escribir en inglés, también queremos que se aprendan los nombres de las letras y que puedan deletrear cualquier palabra si les hace falta. ¡Allá vamos! Hello there! Last week we started an activity called "Weekly song". Each week of this term we are going to work one traditional song. The first song was "Incy Wincy Spider" which is pretty popular in the English-speaking countries. ¡Hola! La semana pasada empezamos una actividad llamada "Canción semanal".
